Metal Mind Productions presents remastered edition of the debut album by the legendary female fronted band Stos.
Stos was formed in 1981 in Jaworzno by Irena Bol - vocals, Mirosław Majta - vocals, Mirosław Bol - guitar, Waldemar Harwig - guitar, Waldemar Rosiak – bass and Jan Bol – drums. The first songs from that period proved that the band was heavily influenced by hard rock music in the likes of Black Sabbath, Nazareth, Budgie or UFO. Their debut album "Stos", previously available only as a LP, contains the material from recording sessions in Opole ’86 and Poznań ’89. New digipak ediion includes 3 studio and 5 live tracks as a bonus and is limited to 2000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process on golden disc. The album will be released on 28th July 2008 in Europe and 2nd September 2008 in USA (via MVD).

Sumerian thrashing Black Metal pioneers MELECHESH are now seeking to audition a new bass player to join the band as an active member.
The band is looking for a serious and reliable bass player, who can positively contribute to the band. This person should be prepared for future touring and recordings with MELECHESH and is able to do backing vocals on stage.
Comment by founding member Ashmedi, Interest in the MELECHESH themes is paramount and the candidate must understand our mindset in striving to define an own style in Extreme Metal both on a musical and a spiritual level. Since 2006 Al’Hazred has not been an active member in the band and hasn’t been playing live with the band since 2004. We would like to thank him for the years he was contributing with MELECHESH and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. We recruited session bass player Kawn who is still to this date our live bass player and will continue to be until we find a permanent member, so this does not affect our scheduled future live appearances”

Hi there,
one more major announcement, we have another new family member in:
Mr. Connie Andreszka (Cabal / ex-Circle OF Pain) on the guitar!
Besides being a brillant guitarist (did some extensive touring as live member of Crystal Ball), Connie is one hell of singer! That guy's got balls for sure!
After more than four years our friend and brother Schimmi decided to leave the band. He told us about his decision a couple months after the release of "The Sky Is The Limit", but promised to do one last tour, which we did with Saxon, and stay as long as he's needed.
We'll miss you, brother! Take care, thanx for four fantastic years and "Neizuend'n"!

At last, the search is over!
On June 6th, at The Sweden Rock Festival, we are proud to present our new guitar player Henrik Bergqvist!
It has taken some time and effort to find a suitable replacement, a person that possesses all the qualities needed to fill the position at stage right in this great band.
Many talented guitar players have applied and impressed. But in the end we found the linguist and guitar phenomenon Henrik among Mayan Indians in the rainforests of southern Mexico and the deal was sealed!
Henrik has previously played with bands like Southfork (SWE) and Tiamat.
- We have a fantastic summer ahead of us with one of the biggest summer tours in Sweden and with Henrik on board we are anxious to get going! says The Poodles.

Popular thrash newcomers WARBRINGER just wrapped an extremely successful European tour with legends Napalm Death and Suffocation. However, don’t expect these guys to be off the road for long – they have extensive US touring planned including treks with each Finntroll and Overkill!
Frontman John Kevill had the following to say: “Just finished off the Napalm Death/Suffocation European tour a couple days ago. Long story short, it fucking slaughtered. First time for us touring overseas, and our first time touring in a bus. Had a big ol red nightliner bus with bunks and all that, which is way luxurious compared to the van touring we are accustomed to. It fit like 20 people, Napalm, Suffo, us, and crew. Everyone in both bands were awesome fellas, there wasn't really any problems with any anybody on the tour. The European fans and people at the venues were way friendly, and that coupled with the fact that we were traveling the world, going to all these different countries made it one of the coolest things any of us have done, ever. Some highlights of the tour were Frank "the tank" Mullen yelling at people to jump off bridges all day at Rock Hard festival, the brotherhood of spoon tattoos, Ryan's (possibly) fictional tapeworm that made him eat like 20 sandwiches a day, the raging fucking maniacs who went berserk in places like Portugal and Poland, and any day we were in the Netherlands/the few days after with Terrence, Joe, AK, etc. Anyhow, tomorrow we start up a couple more firsts- our first headlining tour and our first shows in the UK, with Gama Bomb supporting. We'll see you all out there, cheers!”

Italian Goth Metal icons LACUNA COIL are currently working on their new album – but, they are taking some time to put together a very special project to be released this winter! The band has launched a YouTube contest asking their fans to contribute to a new DVD that will act as a retrospective of their Karmacode cycle. 3 favorite clips will be featured in the DVD!

“As most of you know we’re at home right now writing songs for our new album. However, we’re also working on something else very special as well – and we want YOU to be a part of it….
We’re putting together a special DVD that will be all about the “Karmacode” album and all of the tours that we have done over the past 2 years.

Eden's Curse are currently in the recording studio working on the follow up to their well received debut record. Production duties will once again be handled by Dennis Ward.
The record is scheduled for release in late October 2008.

Mid-June the band will enter Antfarm Studios here in Aarhus, Denmark, together with Tue Madsen (who also mixed their two latest albums) to record two new tracks. This will be the first recordings to feature the new line-up, and Tue will mix the whole lot, so it will be ready in the end of June. So for all of you who are anxious to hear the new material - the wait is over. Expect to hear the first samples beginning of July! About Testament Music Video Director (for "More Than Meets The Eye"), Thomas Mignone:
There's a new independent feature film that's coming out in June called "On The Doll" --- the film's director is our friend and video director Thomas Mignone - Besides just directing our new video for "More Than Meets The Eye", he's directed lots of other videos you may know, such as Mudvayne's "Dig", and bands like Slipknot, Death Angel, System Of A Down, Sepultura, Soulfly, Obituary, Danzig, Megadeth, The Fall Of Troy, and many others.
The film stars Brittany Snow in a way you've never seen her before --- she plays a very mean-spirited prostitute who exacts revenge on the people who have abused and exploited her. The film deals with themes of child abuse and the way people can be victimized in a very compelling and heartfelt way --- the film also stars Candice Accola from "Juno", and Josh Janowicz from "The Chumscrubber".
The title comes "On The Doll" comes from the phrase psychiatrists ask children who've been abused to "Show them on the doll where they were touched". All the characters in this film are very strong, independent-thinking people who find ways to help each other overcome their adversaries even though they have all experienced great pain and hurt in their younger lives but they can still find the strength to not be victimized throughout their adult lives.
The film also has some great music in it too. The soundtrack is by Paul D'Amour, who was the original bassist and songwriter for TOOL. There are also songs by Miss Derringer, The Crystal Method, Feersum Ennjin and The Black Heart Procession. The music in the film is like a character itself and really creates the somber mood.
"On The Doll" is being released in stores and online on June 17. Please support Thomas' film. We think it has an important message about our society that needs to be seen and heard. check out the film's website it at www.onthedoll.com.
